American Urological Association Welcomes New Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

In his new role, Manocha will be responsible for developing and implementing the association’s global technology roadmap and agenda, including launching new programs in infrastructure and security, online and digital strategy, business analysis and project management, and information systems and application development.

Manoch, who brings more than 20 years of technical know-how and innovation, was most recently Director of Applications for the Maryland Department of Human Services, where he developed, used and implemented the publicly accessible Total Human-Services Integrated Network (MD THINK) , a first-ever cloud-based platform in the country that enables multiple government agencies to provide integrated health and social services to the most vulnerable residents of the state. Before working for that State of Maryland, Manocha led technical services and operations for Iron Bow Technologies, including large federal and commercial client portfolios that spanned telemedicine and global managed services businesses.

“Raj is a practical executive who brings exceptional technical expertise and great business acumen to the position of CTO through his leadership roles in global corporations, nonprofits, and state and federal organizations,” says Michael T. Sheppard, Chief Executive Officer, CPA, CAE. “We are pleased to welcome a senior leader from Rajs Kaliber to our team and look forward to his numerous contributions.”

Manocha holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, as well as several certifications in information technology and business processes, including Lean Six Sigma.
