Kyle Davidson has been named the first director of the Arkansas State University, Mountain Home Office of the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC).
Davidson joined ASBTDC in April 2021 after more than 20 years in banking, bringing with him lending, operations and management experience. He attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, where he received his bachelor’s degree in agriculture with a major in finance. He graduated from Louisiana State University’s Graduate School of Banking in 2008.
The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at ASUMH serves Baxter, Fulton Izard, Marion, Searcy, and Stone Counties. The ASBTDC serves Arkansans who want to start new businesses, buy established businesses, expand existing businesses, or commercialize research or technology. The office assists clients free of charge with all aspects of business formation, operations and management, and provides resources for specific business services. It works with community partners to provide services and free local events and training.
Davidson and his wife Janie live in Mountain Home with their two children, Tucker and Savannah.
