Dunwoody College of Technology launches 2 new virtual degree programs

“This past year provided the opportunity to develop and implement online learning practices as we adjusted to a new way of operating during the COVID-19 pandemic,” Dunwoody Provost Scott Stallman. “That opportunity has opened the door for us to reach students in new areas of the country, and we are excited to deliver Dunwoody’s exceptional education, and the great careers that follow, to students beyond Minnesota.”

Both of these degrees are often hands-on and skills-based, but Stallman said the pandemic taught faculty that these degrees can be achieved online. The programs will offer project-based learning and students will be equipped with industry-leading technology to complete their courses.

“Now we know after doing this and having our student feedback saying this has been a terrific experience and it has actually opened up ways to do things even quicker than you could face to face,” Stallman said.

In December 2020, Dunwoody was approved to be a nationwide provider of online education by the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements.
