When Environmental technology (ET) was founded in 1983, the product range was small and the philosophy simple, “to deliver innovative analyzers for monitoring air quality and to offer the best service and support”. Fast forward 38 years to 2021 and the company’s founding philosophy remains unchanged, but the product range has expanded and taken business in many new directions, including CEMS, atmospheric chemistry and aerosol research, greenhouse gas and stable isotope measurements, as well as vehicle emission measurements and mobile laboratories.
Duncan Mounsor, Managing Director of Enviro Technology, comments: “Our air quality monitoring stations and MCERTS approved ambient gas and particulate analyzers for NOx, SO2, CO, O3, PM10 and PM2.5 are mainly used on the UK national networks and by many local authorities. and for this business we are best known. However, over the past decade, our carefully selected range of next generation surveillance technology has drawn us to the attention of many of the UK’s leading research universities and institutes using our tools for all types of leading research; agricultural emissions, carbon and greenhouse gas cycles, atmospheric remote sensing and the composition and characterization of particulate matter ”.
Duncan concludes, “While we still specialize in air quality monitoring, our instrumentation expertise and continued awareness of customer wants and needs have taken us into many exciting new sectors over the past four decades, all of them have one thing in common: the need for high quality instruments and first class service and support. And these are all buzzwords for ET ”.
At the virtual event of the Air Quality and Emissions Show (AQE) on October 13th and 14th, we will introduce a brand new range of CEMS and environmental analyzers from the world’s leading analyzer manufacturer Teledyne-API. The new N-Series builds on the T-Series, which has sold tens of thousands of units over the past decade and can be found on every continent.
The instruments of the N series combine sophisticated CAN-BUS technology with a maintenance-friendly design and guarantee simple operation and integration. With the latest electronics and powerful, innovative NumaView on-board software, the N-Series analyzers are both future-proof and packed with user benefits.
And since IPPC recently issued the Code Red warning on climate change, we are also showcasing some of our wide range of greenhouse gas analyzers from ABB Los Gatos Research for measuring CH4, CO2 and N2O.
We look forward to seeing you at our virtual booth!
