“Our programs focus on technological advancement in the industry they support and we are fully committed to that practice,” said the President / CEO. from CBT Luis LLerena. “Our mission has always been focused on one key word: technology.”

The CBT Technology Institute promotes an environment for career readiness and communicates this internally and externally through ongoing campaigns in order to support an important component of the brand identity, competence-oriented training. The school was a pioneer in branding the promotion of professional and technical education and with this new name change the commitment was sealed. This transition is more than a name change, it is a renewed commitment to mission. “After the pandemic, new skills will play a key role in rebuilding our workforce community and the CBT Technology Institute will be an ally for employers struggling to find skilled workers,” concluded Mr LLerena.

Adult learner success and employer relationships have been central to CBT’s mission for 33 years. During this time, post-secondary education has evolved and seen rapid changes. The institution’s demographics look for career-relevant programs taught and directed by qualified professionals. “The name change will confirm that our core brand and curricula for our school are geared towards competency-based hard and soft skills” Monica LLerena, Corporate Communications Officer, “Employers are looking for graduates who have both.”
