Links Technology from Schaumburg brought their annual Links Technology Cup golf excursion back to the Schaumburg Golf Club on Wednesday for the benefit of the Schaumburg Park Foundation.
The foundation is a non-profit association for the promotion of the programs of the Parkkreis Schaumburg. Its beneficiaries include the district’s Recreational Scholarship Program, which provides funds for family memberships, programs, and events for those who otherwise may not have the financial means to participate in district activities.
The charity event raised funds from a full day of golf with participants playing 18 holes and dining at Chandler’s Chophouse in the golf course clubhouse.
Aside from the overall competition for the trophy, other on-course competitions included hole-in-one, longest putt closest to pin, and longest men’s / women’s tee.
