A seasoned technology manager with more than 20 years of experience building technical product teams and developing SaaS software, Kvalsvik has extensive healthcare experience in both revenue cycles and clinical data, and a proven ability to manage product development. As CTO, Kvalsvik will oversee all current and future product and software developments as well as data integrations and the development of its innovative telemedicine platform to meet increased patient demand while delivering its responsive healthcare solution to payers. In addition to expanding the product and software team, Kvalsvik will work with UCM Digital Health’s product, data and analytics teams to further advance the technology, resulting in more robust product and information delivery for customers and partners.

Previously, Kvalsvik co-founded Madaket Health, a software platform for the administrative data exchange between providers and payers, where he led efforts to streamline the slow and complicated process of managing provider data from initial registration to periodic re-approval. As CTO of the company, he was responsible for product management, software development, quality, information security and technical infrastructure.
Prior to Madaket Health, Kvalsvik was the founder and CEO of ScandiLabs, Inc., a healthcare software development consultancy. In this role, he led population health software development for McKesson. Kvalsvik also served as Vice President of Technology for Intralinks, a SaaS-based virtual data room solution for financial services and life sciences, and led the engineering team through key product improvements including workflow functionality, enterprise search and API redesign.
Kvalsvik has two degrees in economics and management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (WITH).
